Board Goals

The Pontiac Township High School District 90 School Board has established the following goals:

Learning Environment:
1) Furnish the tools needed for every student to meet their full potential.
2) Promote a safe, healthy, and respectful learning environment for all students.
3) Champion meaningful experiences for students through activities, programs, and community service.

College and Career Readiness:
1) Improve student achievement measured by student growth and graduation success data.
2) Align our curriculum to the appropriate state and national standards.
3) Provide meaningful learning experiences for students to grow personally and academically.

Faculty, Staff and Administration:
1) Hire an effective superintendent to lead the District.
2) Attract and retain highly effective personnel.
3) Support and monitor professional development of personnel.

School/Community Relations:
1) Create and foster positive relationships that connect all stakeholders to the school.
2) Communicate district goals and seek community feedback through collaborative efforts.
3) Be a vital member of the communities we serve.

Finance:
1) Develop and maintain a fiscally responsible budget that supports our district goals.
2) Communicate with staff to be financially responsible.
3) Maintain and maximize the effectiveness of our current buildings and grounds.
4) Seek alternative revenues.
