The GLCAC Young Artist Scholarship is open to any high school senior in Livingston County who plans to attend college, community college, or tech school after graduation. This scholarship is in honor of Lori Bristow who was a sponsor of Key Club for 20 years. This scholarship will be awarded to a college bound high school graduate who has demonstrated activity in and appreciation for the theatre arts. Special consideration will be given to those whose course of study includes the theatre arts. Applicants must have been involved in a Vermillion Players production in the production in the last 4 years in any capacity (actor, backstage crew, lighting, etc.) Applicants must be active in theatre arts including theatre, speech, communications, film, etc. during his/her high school career as cast member and/or part of a technical crew. Applicants must be in pursuit of a post-secondary education. Applicants may be required to meet with the Vermillion Players Scholarship committee.

PTHS seniors who have been active all 4 years of high school in the instrumental music department at PTHS, and have been accepted to a college or university as a music major are eligible for the scholarship. Selection is based on musical achievement, career plans, an essay, active involvement in the PTHS music department and community, and 4 years in the PTHS instrumental music program. Transfer students would be given credit for enrollment in another school. Although the recipient must be an instrumental music student in high school, this does not preclude a music student who plans to continue their studies in college as a vocal music major or some other musical emphasis from eligibility.

This scholarship is available to PTHS graduating seniors. Applicants must be in the upper 1/4 of their class. Applicant’s major or minor must be in some area of creative arts, music, art, theater, dance etc. A one page biography and a list of your participation and achievements in school and the community activities are required. Applicants should include a portfolio, digital portfolio, cd, or dvd that will demonstrate your ability in the creative arts.

Roger and Joyce have dedicated their lives to the education and advancement of young adults. This scholarship honors their commitment as it assists a young adult in attending college. Any high school senior who plans on attending college, vocational school or technical college is eligible to apply for the scholarship which will be awarded to them in their college costs. The scholarship will be awarded based upon the application, an essay describing how the applicant has been active in leadership in his/her community, and a brief outline of future plans. Cypress Creek Renewables is proud to launch the Energizing Tomorrow's Leaders Scholarship program. We are committed to making an impact in the communities in which we develop and operate our solar projects. Scholarships will be granted to students pursuing 4-year, 2-year, or certificate programs at an accredited community college or university.
