Graduate of Distinction Program:
Pontiac District 90 will begin the Graduate of Distinction program beginning with the Class of 2022. The program will recognize student accomplishments in the 4 Mission Pillars: Adaptive Learners, Global Thinkers, Responsible Citizens, and Collaboration across School Community. Under the Mission Pillars are the Categories: Academic Achievement, Attendance, Citizenship, Community Service, and Participation in Extra-curricular and Co-curricular activities. Students accumulate points as described on the attached rubric and must accumulate points in each of the five Categories. Students meeting the criteria will be recognized at graduation by receiving the Graduate of Distinction Medal.

students must achieve, at minimum, a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher by the end of the 1st Semester of their senior year |
students support the school’s educational mission by participating in and providing leadership to extra-curricular and co-curricular activities |
students must maintain an attendance rate of 95% or higher during their high school years |
students must be in good standing and discipline record must be absent of out-of-school and in-school suspensions |
students participate in 70 hours of community service during their time at PTHS while serving as a volunteer supporting the community at-large
