Name: Chesebro/Cushman/Kyser Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is open to students who are graduates of any Livingston Co. high school or who will graduate this spring. Priority will be given to graduates from Saunemin area and full-time college students. A letter of recommendation from one of your high school teachers and an official transcript is required. An essay of 250 words of less about your career goals and how this scholarship might affect your options is also required.  Applications are available at any Livingston Co. high school, Saunemin grade school, and both branches of the State Bank of Saunemin.

Name: Martin Scholarship Fund
Applicants must live in Odell Fire Protection District, Odell Public Library District or Odell Grade School District. Applicants must be seniors planning to attend a college or university and major in liberal arts, music, science, nursing, business or engineering. Scholastic achievement, student activities and freedom from the use of alcohol and drugs will be considered in awarding this scholarship. A brief essay (minimum 150 words) is also required. Name: Delta Kappa Gamma Women In Education
The Alpha Beta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International offers 1 grant to senior women planning to enter the field of education. Two letters of recommendation and a 2-page, double spaced essay are also required. Applications must be US citizens, or a legal resident and a senior in an accredited high school in Livingston, Marshall or Woodford counties. This scholarship is available to graduating Illinois high school seniors. Applicants must be applying to attend a university/college located in Illinois and be a full time student. Must be a U.S. citizen and resident in Illinois. Must submit a 500-word essay. See application for more detailed information to be eligible and to meet ALL of the criteria.

Name: Robert J. and Helen F. Johnston Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to PTHS seniors ranked in the upper 25% of their class. A letter from an administrator and teacher is required. Applicant selection is also based on character, scholastic achievement, professional promise, career plans, community involvement and financial need. Applications are available in the PTHS office and online.

Name: Donald L. Abbott Scholarship Fund
PTHS and El Paso-Gridley high school seniors who are entering the fields of medicine, nursing or mathematics are eligible for this scholarship. Requirements include three recommendations and an essay identifying the reasons why you chose your field of study. Applicants may attend a college, university, junior college or vocational school. Name: Alice R. Mies Scholarship Fund - Eugene J. Mies Memorial for Key Club Members
This scholarship is available to PTHS graduating seniors who are Key Club members. Eligible students are those who place an emphasis on "service above self" and rank in the upper 1/3 of their class. Letter of recommendation and a one to two page, typed, double spaced essay on how applicant lives the mission and values of the Key Club. A personal interview may be required. Name: Alice R. Mies Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to PTHS graduating seniors furthering their education in fields of medical/paramedical, or fields of education will be given preference. Applicants must be in the upper 1/3 of their class. Letter of recommendation and a one to two page, typed double spaced essay on how applicant learned how to lead and stand for what is right through service and volunteerism. Identify how you make a positive impact on others in your school and community.

Name: CBAI Foundation For Community Banking Annual Scholarship Program
This scholarship is eligible to students who are Illinois high-school seniors graduating in the spring and entering an institution of higher education in the fall. They must be a US citizen and Illinois resident. Students are asked to write one page essay on the theme listed on the application. Entries must be received by the CBAI Foundation via the sponsoring bank by 5 pm on the deadline listed above to be eligible for judging. Name: Hagan Scholarship Foundation
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship. The scholarship is designed to help recipients graduate debt free. Recipients must graduate from a public high school located in a county in the US having fewer than 50,000 residents. The scholarship provides up to $48,000 over 4 years to attend college. Recipients must enroll at an eligible four-year not-for-profit college or university the first semester following high school graduation. Additional information is available online at www.hsfmo.org

Name: Marquis "What Fuels You" Scholarship
This scholarship is for any individual who will be enrolled in a full-time, undergraduate degree program at a two or four year university, college or technical school. Applicants applying within 90-mile radius of Marquis Energy - Illinois facility in Hennepin, IL. Awards will be based on application scoring rubric (on the application). Name: Illinois Chemical Education Foundation
This scholarship is open to all future chemists, chemical engineers, environmental engineers, or high school chemistry teachers. The ICEF's objective is to recognize and honor high school seniors who have exemplified outstanding achievement, extracurricular/employment activities and community involvement. Name: Kathryn G. Hansen Scholarship
High school seniors pursing higher education in an office professional, secretarial, or business-related field within Illinois are eligible for this scholarship with preference given to attendance at the University of Illinois. Name: Compeer Financial
The scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who have been accepted or will enroll at a university, college or community/technical college. Eligible applicants will have a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), reside in Compeer’s service territory, and have a designated agriculture major or interest in an agriculture-related field, or have an agricultural or rural background. *Dependents of Compeer Financial team members and Board Members are not eligible.

Applicants must be permanent Illinois residents, and enrolled full-time at a certified institution of higher learning within the State of Illinois. As essay of 500 words or less is also required.  Applications must be returned to the sheriff’s office in your county. This scholarship is open to any student who plans on majoring in business. The Scholarship is based on need, achievement and class standing. This scholarship is open to any student who plans on majoring in agriculture. The scholarship is based on need, achievement and class standing. Name: Illinois Scottish Rite Scholarship Fund
Valley of Bloomington, through the Illinois Scottish Rite Scholarship Fund, awards new scholarships to students. Each applicant must be a resident of the Illinois and display and maintain a certain level of academic achievement. Requirements for each scholarship vary. Name:  SOCU Member Scholarship
Applicants must be members in good standing of the SOCU and enroll or plan to enroll full-time in a college, university, or trade school. Applicants must have a current minimum GPA 2.0 and have not previously received a SOCU scholarship. Applicants must attend college during the school year listed on the scholarship application.

This scholarship requires two letters of personal references, a one page biography, and an official transcript. A personal interview may be requested.

Name: Roger and Joyce Tuttle Scholarship
Roger and Joyce have dedicated their lives to the education and advancement of young adults. This scholarship honors their commitment as it assists a young adult in attending college. Any high school senior who plans on attending college, vocational school or technical college is eligible to apply for the scholarship which will be awarded to them in their college costs. The scholarship will be awarded based upon the application, an essay describing how the applicant has been active in leadership in his/her community, and a brief outline of future plans. Applicants should have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 GPA scale.

Scholarships will be awarded to five PTHS graduating seniors who excel academically, participate in school activities, contribute to the community by volunteering in community services activities, and demonstrate financial need. There is no minimum gpa to apply or specific post-secondary school/major.

Name: Rotary Club - Eva Mae Loy/Service Above Self Scholarship
This scholarship is offered to graduating Illinois high school seniors. Applicant selection will be based on: Character "service above self" as demonstrated by community involvement, financial need, recommendation of teacher or administrator, success in field of study, career plans and scholastic achievement. There is no restrictions on the applicant's selection of an institution for continuing education. Application must be turned into the Guidance Office.

Name:  Vermillion Players Theatre Scholarship Program
This scholarship will be awarded to a college bound high school graduate who has demonstrated activity in and appreciation for the theatre arts. Special consideration will be given to those whose course of study includes the theatre arts. Applicants must have been involved in a Vermillion Players production in the production in the last 4 years in any capacity (actor, backstage crew, lighting, etc.) Applicants must be active in theatre arts including theatre, speech, communications, film, etc. during his/her high school career as cast member and/or part of a technical crew. Applicants must be in pursuit of a post-secondary education. Applicants may be required to meet with the Vermillion Players Scholarship committee.

This scholarship is offered to PTHS seniors, one male and one female who wish to continue their education. There is no restrictions on applicant’s selection of an institution or program of study. Criteria is based on financial need, achievement, career plans, and community involvement. It requires a recommendation from a administrator or teacher. Name:  Samuel Leslie Bane and Marguerite Bane Scholarship Fund Trust
This scholarship will be awarded to graduating PTHS seniors. A letter from an administrator or teacher is required. Applicant selection is based on character/financial need, scholastic achievement, success in field of study, career plans, community involvement, an recommendation from an administrator or teacher. Name:  Arvetta M. Lewis Scholarship Fund
Applicant must live in Ford or Livingston county. Must attend the University of Illinois studying an agricultural related field. Selection based on character, scholastic achievement, professional promise, career plans, community involvement, financial need and recommendation of teacher or administrator. Letter from administrator or teacher is required.

Name:  Livingston County Home and Community Education Association Scholarship
This scholarship is open to any student who graduated from a Livingston County High School or who resided in Livingston County prior to college or university attendance. The recipient must be enrolled or enrolling as full-time student in an accredited 2 or 4 year college, and pursue an education in Family and Consumer Sciences or related fields. Also required are an interview, 3 reference letters, and a 1-page statement why you are choosing this career path and reasons you are applying for this scholarship.

This scholarship is open to all graduating seniors from a high school in Livingston County. Criteria for this scholarship includes documentation of C+ or better GPA, involvement in hunting or interest in wildlife conservation, involvement in extracurricular activities (school or other), community service and be a US citizen. Also required is an essay of no more than 500 words. Name: Livingston County Farm Bureau Foundation-Ethel K. Hoerner
Applicants must be residents or dependents of a resident of Livingston Co., and a be in good standing with Liv. Co. Farm Bureau. Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest and intention of entering a career in agriculture or a closely related field at an accredited college, university or community college. A minimum of 2 letters of recommendation from individuals not related to the applicant are required. Selection is based on scholastic ability, service/activities of the applicant in school, church, community and financial need. Eligibility:

Trade school scholarships are awarded to McLean, Woodford and Livingston County area. Residence are awarded this scholarship to be applied towards tuition assistance into a vocational school, trade school or college.

Name: Energizing Tomorrow's Leaders Scholarship
Cypress Creek Renewables is proud to launch the Energizing Tomorrow's  Leaders Scholarship program. We are committed to making an impact in the communities in which we develop and operate our solar projects. Recipients must be graduating high school seniors who attend within the Livingston County boundary. Scholarships will be granted to students pursuing 4-year, 2-year, or certificate programs at an accredited community college or university. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate an interest in a career in the renewable energy industry or a STEM-related field but all eligible students are welcome to apply. Proof of enrollment will be required prior to fund dispersal, and scholarships will be paid directly to the college or university.

This Scholarship will be available to PTHS seniors pursuing a degree in education. Applicants must have a cumulative 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale and plan to enroll in an education program with a university. A 250-500 word essay and three letters or reference with at least one being from an educator are required. More information and applications are available in the PTHS guidance office.

Name:  Richard A. Alderman Music Scholarship
PTHS seniors who have been active all 4 years of high school in the instrumental music department at PTHS, and have been accepted to a college or university as a music major are eligible for the scholarship. Selection is based on musical achievement, career plans, an essay, active involvement in the PTHS music department and community, and 4 years in the PTHS instrumental music program. Transfer students would be given credit for enrollment in another school. Although the recipient must be an instrumental music student in high school, this does not preclude a music student who plans to continue their studies in college as a vocal music major or some other musical emphasis from eligibility.

Name: Pontiac Elks Lodge #1019 Scholarship
The fund provides scholarship awards for attending college or other institution of higher education. Scholarship are available to Pontiac Elks, in good standing, and their immediate families only. All winners will be expected to complete a service project with the Lodge during summer of 2023.

Name:  GLCAC Young Artist Scholarship
The GLCAC Young Artist Scholarship is open to any high school senior in Livingston County who plans to attend college, community college, or tech school after graduation. A college art major is not required, but participation in art-related school activities, at least one year of high school art or vocational center graphic arts, and one teacher reference are required.

Name:  J. Paul Yost Creative Arts Scholarship
Applicant’s major or minor must be in some area of creative arts, music, art, theater, dance etc. A one page biography and a list of your participation and achievements in school and the community activities are required. Also required are two recommendations, one to be from a teacher or administrator. Applicants should include a portfolio, digital portfolio, cd, or dvd that will demonstrate your ability in the creative arts.

Name: Lori Bristow Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is in honor of Lori Bristow who was a sponsor of Key Club for 20 years. Criteria for the scholarship are as follows: Key Club Member for at least 2 yrs and in good standing, involvement in extracurricular activities, community service hrs - at least 100 hrs over two years, 3.2 GPA or higher, letter of recommendation from teacher or administrator, completed volunteer hrs and essay.

Name:  William & Patricia Hibsch Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is available to PTHS graduating seniors. Applicants must be in the upper 1/4 of their class. Requirements also include a one or two page, typed, double spaced essay on field of study and why you chose it, a letter from a teacher, a letter from a person in the community addressing community involvement, and a letter from a person of applicant’s choice. Name: Dr. Charles & Mrs. Geneva Porter Scholarship
This scholarship is open to graduating PTHS seniors majoring in any health care related field excluding chiropractic. Preference will be given to osteopathy majors at Des Moines University or osteopathy majors at any college or university. A one page essay and a letter from a teacher or administrator are also required. More information and applications are located in the PTHS guidance office or online.

Name: Lois Siegert Scholarship
PTHS seniors majoring in education are eligible for this scholarship even though preference may be given to students planning to attend Knox College or private institutions. This scholarship requires a letter of recommendation from a teacher and an essay.

Name: World Class Mediacom Scholarship
This scholarship is offered to a graduating high school senior who lives in the areas served by Mediacom. A 500 word essay and recommendation are required. More information and applications are available online.

Name: Livingston County Fair Board Scholarship Fund
Applications must be a present or past Liv. Co. 4-H member for a minimum of 7 years and under the age of 21 by January 1 of the present year. Applicants must verify acceptance or present enrollment in a school of higher learning, and have a GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. A personal interview will be required.

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs, a philanthropic organization, founded in 1894, is dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. The scholarships available are in the studies of:
